Since I lift weights in the morning, I typically always start my day with a protein shake. This morning I whipped up this bad boy and he tasted so delicious I felt the need to share. During the week when I have to run out the door I always make the same shake because its easy, its yummy, and it has all the nutrients I need to jump start my metabolism and keep me full for a few hours. On my days off though, I have more time to experiment. Sometimes they come out tasting not so good and other days I get a little treat. Today was one of those days.
Strawberry Macha Protein Shake Recipe:
-1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used this kind)
-1 Tbs macha powder
-1 Tsp agave syrup
-5 frozen strawberries
- 1 Tsp chia seeds
-1/2 can coconut milk
Combine all ingredients in your blender, blend and enjoy.
